I got my USCG license in the fall of 2024. I got it to spend more time on the water as a bit of a side gig. The opportunity to make it THE gig presented itself somewhat unexpectedly this spring.
30 years of working in financial services, recruiting and consulting, has equipped me perfectly to enjoy the harbor with you and your group!

I love playing volleyball, playing music, connecting with people and the occasional consulting project. I live on Great Diamond Island in Casco Bay with my cat Hobo.

As I note below, my family has a lot to do with the choice to launch the business. This is me with my boys and daughter in law. My wife Stacee passed in 2022 and lifes game board was thrown into the air. She was un matched in making the most of the time and energy she had. With three sons all in early adulthood, watching two of my closest people pass in the last four years, and looking at life through a different lens this seems to be the best way forward!

To provide people with a memorable, safe, and enjoyable time on Casco Bay.
I've spent a fair amount of money on things I don't remember. What I have invested in time and money to be with people I love, doing the things I love, has always provided the best return!
About us
Fred Adams Charter and Tours was named after the two people pictured below; Stephen Frederick and Matthew Adam. My uncle and older brother both got me off the shore and gave me a love for the ocean. Both passed in the last five years. Both much too soon. This is equal parts carpe diem and an homage to them. I'd love to provide you with the same love of exploring that they provided me!
